PhD Course: 'Doing Mobilities Research'
We are hosting a PhD course on the theme ‚Doing Mobilities Research‘ from March 5th-7th 2018. We are currently looking for 10-15 PhDs to join us, and are hoping for applications from a diverse range of PhD candidates working with mobilities and transport. All details are in the call, but please note that the deadline for abstracts is already 15th December 2017.
mobil.LAB Opening Reception
On Wednesday 11th October 2017, 17.00-20.00, the mobil.LAB is holding an opening reception and poster session. This is a great opportunity to get an overview of the new research in the second phase of the mobil.LAB, and to meet the new fellows.
Any colleagues, researchers, practitioners and students in the Munich area are welcome to join us! All the details are available here.
The reception will be at the Alte Poststelle at Arcisstr. 21, Technical University of Munich.
For planning purposes, attendees are asked to register with Helen Carter by latest 27th September.
mobil.LAB goes public!
The mobil.LAB will be holding an open public event on Tuesday 23rd May, where Matthew Okrah and Benjamin Büttner will present their work. Both Benjamin and Matthew have recently completed their PhDs within the mobil.LAB.
The event will be at the Oscar von Miller Forum in Munich, from 18.00-20.00. The presentations will be in German (although comments/discussion in English will also be welcome).

Digital Life: Global Transformations after Robotics, Artificial Intelligence and Digital Technologies
Professor Anthony Elliott (University of South Australia) will give a presentation for the mobil.LAB on Monday 28th November 2016, 11.15-13.00, at the Munich Center for Technology and Society (Augustenstraße 44, Room 207). More details on the talk can be found here.
